In this interactive class there is always room for your questions.

This highly appreciated class is intended to help you feel more comfortable and confident in your parenting role following your birth.  A senior and skilled pediatric nurse will guide you through a new born baby’s needs during the first weeks so that you more easily can interpret your baby’s signals. Our aim is to build you confidence and knowledge about becoming parents. 

There is always room for your questions.

Subjects that are covered;
Having a newborn in Sweden – routines and medical checkups at BVC.
Sleep and sleeping positions.
Understanding the baby’s signals. The baby’s skin / rashes.
Pee and poop.
Nutrition / feeding the baby.
Practical tips on how to bathe and take care of a newborn baby.
Child safety. Prevention of SIDS.

Class is recommended from pregnancy week 25. Class is 2 hours in total.

A link to the Zoom meeting will be sent out by 24 hours before class and a reminder 1 hour prior to class starting.
